TotalDisplay is
a versatile controller board for use in TFT LCD display applications.
Based on Cirrus Logic Inc.’s EP9312 ARM9-based embedded processor,
the TotalDisplay is a compact and low power
unit, making it ideal for use in all types of display applications, in
particular portable and mobile displays.

It
supports high levels of definition and colour depth. Designed to simplify
the task of integrating a display, the TotalDisplay
can be supplied ready for use with a wide variety of popular LCD panels
ranging in resolution from VGA to XGA.
The TotalDisplay is a very low power controller,
consuming less than 2 watts at 200 MHz. It supports display resolutions
up to 1280x1024x16bit VGA, and drives both local and remote displays (using
LVDS). The TotalDisplay can be supplied with
either Linux or WinCE.NET; it supports up to 32Mbytes of onboard flash
memory, and up to 128 Mbytes of SDRAM.
Other features include a socket for a removable CompactFlash drive, onboard
2.5" IDE hard disk option, touch screen interface, AT keyboard support,
and 10/100 ethernet. All of these are contained on a board only 140x90x25
mm, making it very suitable for applications where space is at a premium.
