A wholly-owned subsidiary of UK Coal, Harworth Power's main business is generating electricity from mine gases and feeding that electricity into the National Grid.
Netrix has been used very effectively in this application, providing Harworth Power with a system for continual monitoring and remote control of its methane-powered generators. The system was also integrated into Harworth Power's existing enterprise stack to provide accounting information about the amount of energy generated by each turbine.
